Welcome to findtaskers.com (the "Platform"). By accessing or using our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and findtaskers.com.
2. Services Overview
findtaskers.com is a marketplace that connects:
- Posters: Individuals or entities needing a task performed.
- Taskers: Individuals or entities offering to perform services. The Platform acts solely as a venue to facilitate these connections and does not perform the tasks itself.
3. User Accounts
- Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Accuracy: You agree to provide truthful and accurate information during registration.
- Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4. Posting and Bidding
- Postings: Posters must describe tasks accurately. Postings must not involve illegal activities, hazardous materials, or sexual services.
- Offers: Taskers may submit offers to complete a task. An offer is a binding commitment to perform the task for the specified price.
- Contract: A "Task Contract" is formed directly between the Poster and the Tasker once the Poster accepts an offer.
5. Financial Terms & Escrow
- Escrow System: Upon acceptance of an offer, the Poster must deposit the full agreed amount into the findtaskers.com Escrow Account.
- Payment Release: Funds are held in escrow until the Poster marks the task as "Completed." Once marked complete, funds are released to the Tasker’s account, minus applicable fees.
- Service Fees: To maintain the platform, findtaskers.com charges a 10% Service Fee to both parties. This fee is non-refundable.
- Poster Fee: 10% added to the task total.
- Tasker Fee: 10% deducted from the final payout.
6. Cancellations and Disputes
- Cancellations: If a task is cancelled by mutual agreement before work begins, funds are returned to the Poster (minus any non-refundable processing fees).
- Dispute Resolution: If a Poster refuses to mark a task as complete, or a Tasker fails to deliver, findtaskers.com may offer a dispute mediation service. The platform reserves the final right to determine the distribution of escrowed funds based on evidence provided by both parties.
7. Conduct and Safety
- Off-Platform Payments: Circumventing the platform’s escrow system to avoid fees is strictly prohibited and may lead to permanent account suspension.
- Reviews: Users may rate each other. Reviews must be honest and free of hate speech or harassment.
8. Limitation of Liability
findtaskers.com is not an employer. We are not liable for:
- The quality, timing, or legality of the tasks performed.
- Any personal injury or property damage resulting from a task.
- Disputes between Users, though we provide mediation tools.
9. Taxes
Taskers are independent contractors and are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes on earnings made through the platform.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or harms the integrity of the marketplace.
